ALMAR Arctic diamonds
Public Joint Stock Company ALMAR – Arctic diamonds (abbreviated as ALMAR) is developing diamond deposits in the Leno-Anabar diamond-bearing subprovincion in the North-West of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The company attracts investment funds for the implementation of geological exploration in licensed areas and the creation of a modern full-cycle diamond mining business that combines the experience and traditions of Russian diamond miners with the flexibility and dynamics of a small private company.
OPERATIONS
ALMAR has been developing 2 placer diamond deposits with a total volume of reserves and forecast resources of more than 20 million carats for 7 years.
During this period, a complex of geological exploration works was carried out for drilling geological wells and sinking pits and ditches, during which 3 thousand tons of samples were obtained and tested. As a result, samples of diamonds in a total volume of about 400 carats were obtained.
At the end of 2022, the development of ALMAR license areas is at the stage of completion of exploration and confirmation of raw diamond reserves. Obtaining a mining license and organizing work on the construction and operation of deposits, as well as sorting and sales of diamonds are planned for 2023-2026.
